How to avail of the €2,500 Trading Online Voucher / Website Grant
What is a Trading Online Voucher?
The Trading Online Voucher is a great opportunity for businesses to establish or enhance their online trading capability and so reach and service a market they might otherwise not be able to access. The scheme is operated by your Local Enterprise Office.
Qualifying businesses may apply for funding up to the value of €2,500 or 90% of eligible expenditure (ex VAT), whichever is the lesser. The business funds the remaining 10% themselves.
Who is eligible to apply?
The vouchers are targeted at businesses with the following profile:
- Limited or no e-commerce presence
- 10 or less employees
- Turnover less than €2m
- Business must provide clear proof of trading for a minimum of 6 months to their Local Enterprise Office
- Previous voucher recipients may apply for a second voucher
- Applications must be received between April 7th 2020 and September 30th 2020
What can the grant be used for?
- IT consultation
- Development or upgrade of an e-commerce website
- Implementing Online payments or booking systems
- Development and/or implementation of a digital marketing strategy;
- Training/skills development specifically to establish and manage online trading activity.

How do I apply?
- You must first apply and participate in the next TOV online webinar (approx 1 hour). You can find your local LEO office here.
- You will then be provided with a link to the online application system.
Once you have your content and TOV approval we can get started on your new online trading project.
